Agua de Melón (Cantalope)
- Half a cantalope—remove the seeds but keep the pulp
- 1 Tbs sugar
- 2 handfuls of ice cubes
- The juice of 1 lime
- Pinch of salt
- Enough water to purée
Blend until smooth. If desired, dilute with water or club soda and/or add liquor such as vodka or tequila.
Agua de Cucumber (Pepino)
- 3½ cucumbers, peeled
- 3 Tbs sugar
- 4 handfuls of ice cubes
- The juice of 1 lime
- Pinch of salt
- Enough water to purée
Blend until smooth. If desired, dilute with water or club soda and/or add liquor such as vodka or tequila.
