Olive Oil Bread
Ingredients
- 4½ cup flour
- dose yeast
- tsp salt
- 1½ cup hot water
- 4 Tbs olive oil + more to grease
Method
- Combine in food processor
- Pulse to mix. Add water. Process. Add 4 Tbs olive oil. Process.
- Add the rest of the flour ½ cup at a time, processing in between, until the dough forms a ball.
- Knead for just a minute.
- Rise in oven on lowest temp, in greased bowl covered in plastic.
- Form into 2 loaves on greased cookie sheets. Cornmeal on bottom. Smear olive oil all over. Cover with plastic and rise in oven.
- Remove plastic and bake.
Note
Use it as pizza dough too. Lengthen first rise. Roll thin. Limit the moisture in yr toppings. Bake hot as hell.
